How to Use TKTX

Usage Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Skin: Wash the area where the tattoo or laser procedure will be performed with soap and water.

  2. Prepare the Area: Apply a warm towel to the skin for 5 minutes. Thoroughly dry the area.

  3. Apply First Layer: Apply a thick layer of TKTX numbing cream to the area and rub it in thoroughly.

  4. Apply Second Layer: After rubbing in the first layer, apply another thick layer of TKTX cream (about 2-3 mm thick) to the area.

  5. Cover with Plastic Wrap: Cover the TKTX cream with plastic wrap (e.g., food wrap) and keep warm. The warmth under the plastic wrap helps activate the cream and prevents it from drying out.

  6. Wait Before Procedure: Leave the TKTX cream and wrap in place for 1 hour before the tattooing procedure. For lengthy procedures that last hours and cover large areas, apply the numbing cream over the entire work area, then remove in sections as the procedure progresses.

  7. Numbness Duration: The skin typically remains numb for 3-5 hours after the cream is removed, depending on skin type and body area.

Pharmacological Action:

Lidocaine works by temporarily blocking pain signals along nerves by preventing sodium from entering nerve endings at the site of pain. This stops the formation of electrical signals and transmission along nerve fibers to the brain.

Pharmacokinetics:

Lidocaine can be absorbed after local application on mucous membranes. Its absorption rate and extent depend on the specific application site, duration of action, concentration, and total dose. Redness of the area may occur.

Warnings:

  • Do not use in children under 6 years old.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Do not use if allergic to lidocaine or other local anesthetics.
  • Do not apply to cuts, scrapes, wounds, areas with skin rashes or eczema. Avoid application near eyes, ears, mouth, nose, anal area, or children’s genitals.
  • Adults and children over 6 years: apply to affected areas no more than 2 times a day. Consult a physician for children under 6 years.
  • If you experience side effects or unusual effects, discontinue use and contact a medical professional immediately.

Side Effects:

Possible side effects include swelling or redness at the application site, unusual skin sensations, or pale skin. Severe and rare side effects may include allergic reactions such as hives, rashes, itching, facial swelling, difficulty breathing, or chest tightness.

Overdose:

Medications affect different people in different ways. If you experience any unusual side effects, discontinue use and contact a medical professional. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.

Coverage Area:

Each tube contains 10 g of cream and should be applied generously and in a thick layer! One full tube is sufficient to cover approximately a 15x15 cm area.

TKTX Percentage Composition:

Higher percentage compositions provide longer-lasting anesthesia. Choose the appropriate percentage based on the required duration of anesthesia, which is detailed in each product description.
